Merrywood Revival
Jason and Arigoni Construction have worked with me on several renovation projects since 2013. I enjoy buying houses in terrible condition and restoring them. In each case, the results from Jason’s work have been outstanding. He has a great eye for design and does exceptional work. In addition, he is honest, trustworthy, neat and willing to offer suggestions to help with the budget. My latest project is a large, historic house in Stockbridge called Merrywood. Of all the projects we’ve worked on, this was in the worst condition – abandoned for years with significant water and structural damage including a large area of collapse and several areas on the verge of collapse. Phase I consisted of stabilizing the structure and renovating the carriage house into living space so I have a place to live while we renovate the rest of the house. The before and after results are amazing. We maintained the original design which created significant challenges, but Jason and his team worked through them and the outcome is fantastic!
